Website Author: Scripturesubjects.net was created by Kris Jordan, an author, a Bible studies teacher, and a passionate defender of the faith, and is a ministry of Kris Jordan Ministries, a Christian, non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
Kris’s passion for God’s Word and apologetics began when she was 20 years old, after hearing the Gospel and trusting Jesus for her salvation. Having previously believed being a “good person” would grant her access to heaven, Kris learned the truth while reading God’s Word for the first time.
It was the living and active Word of God that exposed the fallacies of Kris’ false beliefs and taught her the simple Gospel message. This led her to trust Jesus by faith for her salvation.
Since then, and for the past 33 years, Kris has been an astute student of God’s Word — reading, absorbing, and consistently searching and researching the Scriptures. She studied biblical hermeneutics and theology at Azusa Pacific University and Life Pacific University, which intensified her hunger for sound doctrine even more.
Kris’ unrelenting passion for God’s Word and heightened urgency for believers to know and adhere to sound, Biblical doctrine continues fueling her calling to teach and disciple others to contend for the faith and reject falsehood.
Aside from creating the Scripture Subjects website, Kris is a Bible study teacher, has authored several Bible study booklets (krisjordan.net), is a volunteer writer for Got Questions Ministries (gotquestions.org), and assists her husband in leading two ministries (jom.org and fjm.org).
Personal Information: Kris has been married to her husband, Joe, since 1988. They have two grown children, a daughter, and a son. Since their wedding day, Kris and Joe have worked together in ministry, beginning with serving as missionaries in Hong Kong for the first five months of their marriage.
In her spare time, Kris enjoys hiking, exploring nature, fishing, horseback riding, playing board games, riding ATVs, and spending time with her husband and family. (Fun Fact: Kris and Joe have never spent a night apart since 1988.)
